SPRING BOATING CLASSESUSCG Auxiliary, Flotilla 5-8 Public Education Classes Held at Old Colony Yacht Club, 235 Victory Road Dorchester, MA.

13 Lesson (BSS) Boating Skills and Seamanship Course Maximum Class size of 35. First come first served. Sign Up Night April 10, 2008 7PM to 9PM, at Old Colony Yacht Club 235 Victory road. Classes will start on Tuesday April 15, running every Tuesday through Thursday 7 PM to between 9 and 10:30 PM, depending on lesson being taught. Class Graduates on May 08, 2008.
Coastal Navigation Using GPS, 5 Lessons Taught by Instructor, and Author of the Book Frank J Larkin, Expert Instructor ofNavigation/GPS USCG Auxiliary, District Staff Officer,
Aids to Navigation Program. Sign Up Night, and Purchase of Book and Course Materials May 08, 7 PM to 9 PM at OCYC Materials being sold by WestMarine,night of signup. Starts Tuesday, May 13,Then runs 15,20,,27 7 PM to between 9 and 1030PM depending on lesson taught. Maximum class size of 35 students, on a fIrst come first served basis, with BSS graduates having option of Reserving the first seats of the GPS Class. Don't Wait, mandatory Boating Education is in the works on Beacon Hill Beat the rush, educate yourself, and family, now. Some insurance companies offer between 5% and 15% off your Boat Insurance, with BSS and GPS Certificates, even more for members of the CGAuxiliary. Up to 25% off for CG Auxiliary Coxswains.
